An image is cut into as many panels as there are children. Each child builds theirs without knowing what it shows, and the assembly happens at the end, in front of everyone, on a wall of your building.

What the children actually hold
Each child gets a panel a few centimetres across and a laying plan: a grid, a colour code, one square after another. At that scale a fragment of sky and a fragment of plumage look alike, and nobody guesses what they are building.
A panel takes twenty minutes to an hour depending on age. The quickest take a second one, the slowest finish theirs with the host, and the mural is complete at the time agreed.
The assembly happens at the end, panel by panel, on the wall or support you point us to. Every child watches their own square join the image and knows where to find it afterwards.
How it works
- You choose the imageThe school crest, a nature scene, a character, the theme of the year. At Saint-François School it was open hands, the Earth, birds and butterflies; at Saint-Joseph School, a stained-glass window of Saint Joseph reworked for the patronal feast.
- We turn the image into plansThe image becomes a grid of panels, each with its colour code, and the panels are shared out between the classes. You sign off a preview of the finished result before the first brick is laid.
- We arrive with everythingSorted bricks, panels, plans, protective covers. You provide tables, chairs, a well-lit room and a wall or support for the final assembly.
- The children buildOne host supervises around thirty children; beyond that we come as a team. Your own staff stay present as regulations require, without having to run the session.
- Assembly and hangingThe panels join the support one after another, then the mural is fixed in place. It stays with you: the Saint-François piece has hung in the canteen since 2022, the Saint-Joseph one in the entrance hall since 2021.

The final assembly can be timed for the hour parents arrive. The mural is built, fixed and visible before they leave.
A yearly theme made tangible
Unity, respect for nature, local heritage: the image is chosen from what the classes are already working on, and it stays on the wall for the months that follow.
Several classes working together
The panels are shared out in batches between classes, each on its own slot. That is how the Saint-François mural was built, cut into panels distributed across every class in the school.
A large group
From fifteen to more than a hundred children on one piece: you add tables and panels. Our rates are provided on request, within 24 to 48 working hours.

Who funds this kind of project?
The school fund, the parents' association, the local council budget or the holiday centre's own budget. We provide a formal quote for your paperwork, with our company registration number and our professional public liability certificate.
What do you need on site?
Tables, chairs, a well-lit room, and a wall or support for the final assembly. We bring everything else, protective covers included.
From what age?
From five. Below that we switch to larger bricks and shorten the session. Our hosts adjust the difficulty as they go, according to the group in front of them.
Does the mural stay with us?
Yes. The Saint-François piece measures 2 × 1.55 m, the Saint-Joseph one 2.20 × 1.60 m. Both hang in their own school.
Can the children be photographed during the workshop?
Your staff and families photograph for their own use. On our side, no identifying photograph is published without written permission from those with parental responsibility, collected by the school.
