The free build zone offers a space where anyone can handle, assemble, try things out. It creates a gentle, accessible, family moment, suited to public events as much as to trade shows. It fits into a local festival, a fair, an exhibition, a cultural day or a neighbourhood event.
A space where everyone finds their place
The free build zone offers a flexible way of occupying families for several hours. There is no model to follow and no expected result: you build for twenty minutes or two hours, take it all apart, start again. Ages mix without difficulty, and the older ones show the younger ones without being asked. It is one of the rare activities where parents end up sitting down… and joining in.
The format for long days
Over a week of school holidays, the space opens and closes with the venue without flagging. Our facilitators welcome people, put the trays back in order, launch a theme in the quiet hours and tidy up at the end of the day. Visitors come and go freely, which avoids having to turn anyone away at peak times. You have nobody to assign: a single contact for access to the venue is enough.
