Fair organisers & exhibitors

The stand people actually stop at.

In an aisle where everyone is holding out a flyer, an activity that occupies the hands creates the one thing a trade fair really lacks: a reason to stop, and two minutes of conversation.

Built the day before, hosts provided, all equipment handled by us.

Two clients, two needs

You either run the fair or exhibit at it. That is not the same brief.

We handle both, but not with the same set-up. An organiser wants a more attractive fair and longer visits. An exhibitor wants to capture the traffic passing their stand and turn it into conversation. Tell us which you are in the first exchange.

  • For the organiser

A central activation that gives the fair a rallying point, lengthens the average visit and feeds your social channels throughout the event.

  • For the exhibitor

A stand that stops people without having to intercept them. Your sales team approaches someone whose hands are already busy, which changes the nature of the exchange entirely.

  • A reason to talk

A visitor who builds stays two to five minutes. That is more than enough to qualify a need — far more than a flyer handed over in an aisle.

  • An image that travels

The piece is photographed and posted by visitors themselves, with the fair's name or your brand in the frame.

Our set-ups

Three formats, sized to your pitch.

From a corner of a nine-square-metre stand to a central installation that structures the whole fair.

The build corner

A table, bricks, a host. The format that fits on a nine-square-metre stand and turns a peripheral pitch into a stopping point. Your sales team keeps the conversation; we keep the hands busy.

The XXL build challenge

A target announced at opening — a tower, a bridge, a monumental model — that the fair only reaches if visitors take part. Suspense builds over several days and gives the organiser something to post every morning.

We work within the venue's constraints: build slots, dock access, exhibitor badges, site regulations. Send us the technical pack and we'll handle it.

Client story

Nécronomi'con — two days, one piece built by the public

At this festival the point was not to occupy children but to create a rallying point running through the whole event. The mosaic started at opening and was finished at closing on day two, by hundreds of visitors who kept coming back to see how far it had got.

Where it works

The fairs we work most often.

The set-up works wherever there is family traffic or a long visit. It works less well at a strictly professional fair built on timed appointments — we'd rather say so.

Consumer fairs

Autumn fairs, home shows, holiday shows. Family audiences, long visits, highly photogenic: the most favourable ground.

Festivals & conventions

Pop culture, gaming, science fiction. An audience already sold on the object, who get involved and come back several times a day.

Professional fairs

For an exhibitor wanting to stand out in a uniform aisle. The build corner works well at technical shows, where the object provides a welcome diversion.

Property shows

A strong combination: a model of your development as the centrepiece, with a participatory activation around it drawing visitors towards it.

What organisers and exhibitors ask us.

What does it cost?

Our rates are provided on request, within 24 to 48 working hours. Everything is included: equipment, transport, build, hosting, take-down.

What is the minimum stand size?

Six square metres is enough for a build corner with one table and a host. Below that, the set-up obstructs circulation on your stand and becomes counter-productive. For a mosaic, allow nine square metres minimum.

Who runs it — you or our sales team?

We do. That is precisely the point: your sales team stays free for the commercial conversation while our host runs the activity, welcomes visitors and keeps the stand busy. The roles don't blur.

Do you handle the venue's requirements?

Yes. Build slots, dock access, badges, site regulations, safety standards: send us the organiser's technical pack and we'll take care of it. We usually build the evening before.

Do we collect leads?

The activation creates the opportunity, not the database. We don't capture data on your behalf. What it does give you is a visitor standing in front of you for two to five minutes: converting that is your sales team's job, and the set-up exists to open that door.

What happens to the piece after the fair?

You keep it. Many exhibitors display it in their reception afterwards, which extends the campaign well beyond the fair. If you prefer, we dismantle it and take it away — that's covered in the quote.

How far in advance should we book?

A month for a standard corner. Six weeks if you want custom artwork, to allow time to design the laying plan. Major autumn fairs and spring shows book considerably earlier.

Let's talk

Tell us the fair, your dates and the size of your pitch.

Say whether you are the organiser or an exhibitor: it isn't the same set-up, and we don't price it the same way.
