Shopping malls & retail parks

Keep families in the mall an hour longer.

An activation that creates a natural stopping point: children settle in, parents sit down, and dwell time lengthens on its own.

Built overnight or before opening. No involvement from your teams.

Your metric, not ours

An activation isn't judged on atmosphere. It's judged on dwell time.

You don't need your visitors amused, you need them to come in, stay, and come back. A brick activation works on all three, and it has the rare advantage of holding the whole family in one place — not just the children.

  • A stopping point

Children settle in by themselves, with nothing to explain. Parents sit down beside them. The visit lengthens, and footfall through the units with it.

  • Content to publish

A monumental piece gets photographed. Visitors post and tag the centre: you collect content you did not produce, reaching an audience you did not buy.

  • The whole family

From 5 to 95, nobody is a spectator. It is one of the rare activations where grandparents sit down and build instead of standing about waiting.

  • A whole portfolio

If you manage several sites, we run tours: the same set-up, the artwork adapted per centre, one point of contact and a degressive rate.

Our set-ups

Three formats proven in malls.

The choice follows your available floor space, the length of your campaign and the effect you're after: from continuous occupation to a running thread that brings people back.

The wow factor

The giant participatory mosaic

A strong image — your campaign artwork, a local landmark, your centre's identity — rebuilt brick by brick by visitors across the day. The picture appears gradually, and people come back to see how far it has got.

Client story

Aushopping — a family activation in the middle of the mall

The brief: occupy families during the school holidays and create a meeting point visible from both main aisles. The set-up was built before opening and run free-flow, with no registration and no supervision from the centre's teams.

The calendar

When to programme, and why.

The sector runs on peaks. Here is how campaigns spread out across our clients — and which windows need booking a long way ahead.

February & April half-terms

The two most profitable weeks: unreliable weather, families looking for a free indoor activity. Book three months ahead, these slots go quickly.

Mother's Day & spring

The florist's stand window. A poetic, heavily photographed activation, with a retail corner on top.

Back to school & Halloween

Two shorter highlights, over a weekend. Mosaic format with themed artwork, built on the Friday night.

Christmas trading

The period where the challenge isn't attracting but holding, in a centre that is already full. A well-placed stopping point noticeably lengthens the visit.

Summer holidays

A useful window for centres in tourist or coastal areas, with extended family footfall.

What centre directors ask us.

What does it cost?

Our rates are provided on request, within 24 to 48 working hours. Travel beyond Rhône-Alpes and Occitanie is itemised separately, never as a hidden extra.

Do you work across several centres at once?

Yes, and it is the most cost-effective arrangement for you. We run tours across a portfolio of sites, with the same set-up adapted per centre, one point of contact, one contract and a degressive rate from the third site.

How much floor space is needed?

25 m² is enough for a participatory mosaic with a few tables. For a comfortable free-build zone across a week, allow 50 to 100 m². Send us your mall plan: we'll tell you which location works best, and which to avoid.

Who builds it, and when?

We do, overnight or before opening, according to your access rules. Take-down works the same way. Your teams neither prepare, nor supervise, nor tidy.

What about safety requirements?

We provide our public liability certificate and equipment data sheets. The set-up is at floor level, with no elevated structure, no flame and no liquid. Accessible routes and escape widths are respected in the layout we submit.

What happens to the finished piece?

Many centres keep it and display it in the mall for several weeks: a free extension of the campaign. If you prefer, we dismantle it and take it away. Both options appear in the quote.

Are the bricks cleaned?

Yes, between every booking, and mid-run on multi-day campaigns. It is the first thing parents ask, so we'd rather answer before they do.

How far in advance should we book?

A month for a standard weekend. Six weeks if you want custom artwork, to allow time to design the laying plan. February and April half-terms and the Christmas period book three to four months ahead: those are our three peaks.
