Privacy policy
This site is deliberately simple: no accounts, no advertising, no third-party trackers. The only data we hold is what you send us yourself.
The essentials, in four points
No third-party cookies
This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics trackers and no social buttons that would follow you elsewhere. No consent banner is therefore needed.
You decide
We know nothing about you beyond what you write in the quote form or in an email. Nothing is collected without your knowledge.
Nothing is sold on
Your details are never sold, rented or passed to third parties for commercial purposes.
You can erase it all
One email to contact@unibrick.fr is enough to have your data deleted. We reply within a month at most.
What we collect, and why
- Quote form
- Name, organisation, email, phone, project type, date, venue, number of participants and the message you write. Purpose: answering your enquiry and preparing a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request.
- Email exchanges
- The content of our exchanges and your contact details. Purpose: following up the commercial relationship. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Clients
- The information required for invoicing and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
- Server logs
- Our host keeps technical connection logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security. We do not access them for profiling.
Retention periods
- Enquiry with no follow-up
- Three years from the last contact, then deletion.
- Accepted quote
- The length of the commercial relationship, then three years.
- Accounting records
- Ten years, as required by French commercial law.
- Technical logs
- As set by our host's policy, generally six to twelve months.

Who has access
Your data is processed by Unibrick and by the few suppliers needed to run the site and the business: the web host, the email provider and, where relevant, the accountancy firm.
Two audience-measurement tools are in place. Umami, self-hosted on a server located in France: it sets no cookie, uses no persistent identifier, and its data never leaves our machines. And Google Analytics, which sets cookies and transfers data to the United States: that one only loads after your explicit consent, and nothing reaches Google until you have accepted.
Apart from these two tools, your data is passed to no third party and is not transferred outside the European Union. The site loads no font, map or social-media widget from an external server.
Your rights
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection over your data, as well as a right to portability.
To exercise them, write to contact@unibrick.fr or to Unibrick, 90 impasse du Paradis, 69210 Sourcieux-les-Mines, France. We reply within one month.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, or at cnil.fr.
Photographs and image rights
Our activations are sometimes photographed, with the organiser's agreement, to illustrate our work. Where people are recognisable, we ask for their consent or the institution's, and we favour shots that do not identify them.
For minors, no identifying photograph is published without written permission from those with parental responsibility, collected by the institution.
Any removal request sent to contact@unibrick.fr is handled promptly, with no need to give a reason.
