A restitution model brings a monument within reach of the hand. Children trace it with a finger, adults pick out what they have just visited, and families linger together. It is often the most shared moment of the visit: a place where people understand, compare, and tell one another what they see.

The model offers a gentle, immediate way of making a site accessible. It shows what the remains only hint at: a height, an arrangement, a daily life. You come closer, compare it with what you have just walked through, and finally understand what you were looking at. It is an object that makes a visit more generous, especially for the youngest, who find a clear foothold in it.
A support your teams make their own
Interpretation staff use it daily to open a visit, illustrate an explanation, or answer a question asked three rooms earlier. We hand them the plans and the inventory of what is represented, so they can go as far as they wish. The restitution itself is built with your scientific teams, step by step, until it strikes you as right. It then becomes common ground between those who guide and those who discover.
