A giant mosaic is built by hundreds of hands. You sit down, set a few pieces, leave when you like — and the image grows all day in front of the public. The gesture is simple, the way in immediate, and the scene becomes a shared moment in the middle of the passing crowd.
An image built by many hands
The participatory mosaic offers a welcoming way of occupying a place people walk through. Each person settles in freely, contributes for three minutes or an hour, then gives up their seat to the next: the result does not distinguish between the two. Our facilitators explain in thirty seconds, put the trays back in order and set the finished panels on the board. It is an activity you join without committing and leave without guilt — a format that works in free flow.
A memory that stays with the venue
The image closes area by area, which makes people want to come back. Visitors return to see what has advanced since they last passed, and many pick up the work again. Once finished, the mosaic often stays on display for several weeks: it reminds those who took part that they were there. If you would rather keep nothing, we dismantle it and take it away, with no rush and no hurried decision.
