What happens during a round
The group is split into teams of four to eight. Each round opens with a one-sentence brief: copy a model shown for thirty seconds, build the tallest structure from a limited stock, finish the build the neighbouring team started. The clock runs, the host commentates on the microphone.
A round lasts between five and twelve minutes. Between rounds the points are announced and the brief changes: the method that worked last round no longer applies.
Roles sort themselves out without being assigned. Someone reads the plan, someone sorts bricks, someone builds. By the third round, every team has its own way of working.
How it works
- You give us the frameHead count, the length of your slot and the room. We set the number of rounds against the time available: ninety minutes allows five or six, two hours allows eight.
- We put the rounds togetherRounds are picked from our catalogue and adjusted to your objective: mixing departments that never meet, or simply bringing the energy back into the room. A theme drawn from your business or your offsite can be built in.
- We set upWe arrive ahead with bricks sorted round by round, plans, the clock and the sound system. We need tables and light, nothing else.
- The sessionOne host holds the room up to sixty participants; beyond that we come as a pair, up to a hundred. The rounds follow one another with no dead time.
- The final rankingPoints land at the end of each round and the final ranking is announced to the room. We pack up while you move on to drinks.
When this is the right format
The after-lunch slot
Two o'clock, a room that has just eaten and three hours of slides behind it. Rounds last under ten minutes and everybody is on their feet.
A sales convention
Points, a ranking, a podium. The format holds a room of a hundred for two hours, with a winner announced on the microphone at the end.
A short slot
Ninety minutes is enough. Set-up and take-down happen outside your slot: the session fits between two parts of an offsite without overrunning.
A room worth watching
Under the clock, each team decides in thirty seconds who reads the plan and who builds. The managers in the room watch their teams organise themselves with no prompting.

What does it cost exactly?
Our rates are provided on request, within 24 to 48 working hours.
Do people need to know how to build?
No. Briefs are given at the starting signal and the models call for no particular technique. Every team gets the same bricks in the same quantities.
How many people can take part?
Up to a hundred participants in a single session, in teams of four to eight. One host holds the room up to sixty; from there we come as a pair. Above a hundred, we run successive groups within the same slot.
How much space do we need?
One 1.8 m table per team, plus an aisle to move between them and a spot for the host. For fifty participants, an 80 m² room works. Send us your floor plan: we confirm feasibility before booking.
How far ahead should we book?
Three to four weeks for a standard format. Six weeks if you want artwork or a model specific to your company: the design takes time. In May, June and December, book earlier.
What is left afterwards?
Nothing physical: the builds are taken apart and leave with our equipment. If you want to keep an object, the collaborative mosaic and the collective 3D build are made for that.
